Within the interior design space, the Beoplay A9 has become a modern design icon and an instantly recognisable product statement for Bang & Olufsen.

The incredibly chic speaker continues to impress with its output and is now presented as the third generation of the A9, with new improvements in sound and technical performance. With its gorgeous, elegant circular form and crafted materials (think metal, wood, soft fabrics), the Beoplay A9 continues to strike the perfect balance between standing out and blending in.

What’s new with the third gen of A9?
At first sight, the A9 Mk3 looks the same as the second gen. However, in order to meet ever evolving tech requirements, the technical platform and hardware in the A9 has been thoroughly updated. The primary one is the addition of two full range drivers on the back of the A9, which – by reflective acoustic principles – provide a much broader and more embracing sound range. These will take the new A9 to a total of seven drivers. A new and stronger streaming engine for faster performance has also been fitted, along with improved WiFi connectivity. Apple fans can rejoice as AirPlay 2 is now supported, allowing Apple customers to use this new multi-room platform.
